Custom Length Dock Extender Cable

Need a dock extender cable made to a different length than our standard 2 or 6 foot cables? This cable can be made to whatever length you need, up to 14 feet. These custom-made cables are compatible with all iPod and iPhone models.

The cable we use for size and flexibility only allows a fixed number of connections, so not all iPod or iPhone functions are passed through. Specifically, the Custom Dock Extender Cable provides a connection for:

1. Audio output or audio input (not both)
2. Playlist control (forward, backward, play, pause, etc)
3. Charging
4. USB data sync
5. Accessory power output
6. Accessory identification

The Custom Length Dock Extender Cable does not connect video (composite or S-video) or audio in for recording (unless you choose to exchange audio output for audio input).

The Custom Dock Extender Cable is made with high quality Mogami ultra-flexible cable which has 28-gauge conductors for superior audio quality and speedy data transfer. The cable is dark grey and looks very nice with both the white and black end connectors.

Note: Custom dock extender cables take about a week in production. Expect that it will take about this long between the time you place the order and when your cable is shipped.
