dockStubz is a pass-through and charging adapter for iPhone, iPod, and iPad. This 30-pin male to female adapter is 1.3 inches (3.5 cm) tall, passes through all functionality, and includes charge conversion to allow charging iPhone, iPad, and newer iPods on older docks.

30-pin Pass-Through

dockStubz passes all functionality through to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod.* Anything your iPod does when directly attached to your accessory, will also work when connected using the dockStubz. Listen to audio, watch video, record a memo, charge, sync, control your device, and more.

Case Companion

The dockStubz works with most iPod, iPad, or iPhone cases on the market.* Yes, that includes fitting inside narrow, rigid openings on cases like the Otterbox Defendertm. This adapter lets you dock without removing your case.

Charge Converter

dockStubz includes charge conversion circuitry for older docks and accessories that use Firewire for charging. Safely connect your mobile device to any dock and get the charging you need.

Extra Power

If your iPod isn't getting enough power from it's dock, dockStubz lets you inject power via a mini USB jack on the side.

NOTE: For car audio, if you own any Pioneer system, or a BMW or Mini Cooper "Y-Cable" iPod Interface system, please see our Car Charge Kit to fix your charging issues.

*The dockStubz V1 adapter is currently not compatible with the Apple VGA or HDMI video adapters, and notable case-exceptions include Apple Bumper and Lifeproof cases. Our current V2 dockStubz adapter is compatible with both of those video accessores, and works with all covers & cases.
